Greek Chicken Thighs

Making supper couldn't be easier using this Greek Seasoning packet! See below for directions on how to roast, grill or smoke the chicken.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Greek Seasoning packet Little Sioux Kitchen
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 6-8 bone-in skin on chicken thighs
  • Optional, for garnish - fresh chopped Greek herbs, olives, and lemon wedges

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk packet contents with olive oil and lemon juice. Add chicken to bowl, turning to evenly coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight. Roast, grill, or smoke until thoroughly cooked (175℉ internal temperature). See below for directions.
  • To prepare as Oven Roasted Greek Chicken Thighs, roast chicken at 450℉, skin side up on parchment lined rimmed baking sheet until thoroughly cooked and skin is crispy. Start checking for doneness around 35 minutes.
  • To prepare as Grilled Greek Chicken Thighs, grill skin side up at 350℉ on indirect heat for about 30 minutes. Grill skin side down on direct heat until thoroughly cooked and skin is crispy.
  • To prepare as Smoked Greek Chicken Thighs, smoke chicken at 350℉, skin side up for 30 minutes. Then skin side down for an additional 30 minutes. Remove when thoroughly cooked and skin is crispy.
