Garam Masala Popcorn


This healthy snack starter was inspired by my amazing friend battling cancer who was experimenting with healthier popcorn toppings.  It is a very flavorful and fun snack!  My kids request this!!  Simply toss with air popped popcorn and some oil.  See below for ingredients, instructions, and recipe ideas.
INGREDIENTS: Garam Masala (Cumin, Coriander, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Clove, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Bay Leaf), Nutritional Yeast Flakes (Dried Yeast, for flavor), Himalayan Pink Salt
INSTRUCTIONS: Air pop 1/3 cup popcorn kernels into a large bowl. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons neutral tasting oil, tossing evenly to coat. Sprinkle contents of packet on popcorn, tossing to evenly coat.
To prepare it Spicy Popcorn, add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the packet prior to preparation.
To prepare it Sweet Popcorn, add 1/4 teaspoon sugar to the packet prior to preparation and drizzle with butter instead of oil.
To prepare it the Quick and Easy Way!   Microwave 1 bag of popcorn (choose one without very much salt and oil).  Sprinkle contents of packet on popcorn, tossing evenly to coat.
This product was produced at a Home Food Processing Establishment and was made in a facility that also processes wheat, egg, milk, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, and sesame. Extend shelf life by storing in a cool, dark, dry place.
